Funny, I used to be a Family Practice PA. Took the National Certification Test in Dallas, and was the second PA registered in Louisiana -- Air Force guy beat me to the #1 spot.
Wasn't any organization in Louisiana in the late 1970's, so I joined the Texas Association. Still got the certificate around somewhere ...

The Texas Association is going strong. It pushes for progress.
